Hudson Valley dries out after storms

Storms that caused flooding and widespread damage over the past two days have mostly left the region. News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says that

NYACK - Storms that caused flooding and widespread damage over the past two days have mostly left the region.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says that the flash flood watch for the region has been canceled. Van Eck says that showers are still possible until later this afternoon, but shouldnat be heavy.

Meanwhile, the city of Yonkers is making sand bags available to residents that are still concerned about flooding.

Officials say the bags can be picked up until 8 p.m. today at the Yonkers Organic Waste Yard at 610 Nepperhan Ave.
