BEDFORD - Hundreds of people from different faiths and backgrounds came together Friday night to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy.

Members of the Antioch Baptist Church of Bedford united with Rabbi David Greenberg's congregation at Temple Shaaray Tefila.

Rev. Merle McJunkin says the service is a great way to bring a community together to honor the legacy of a civil rights activist.

Organizers say the interfaith service is also intergenerational so that children learned to uphold the late Dr. King Jr.'s dream.
