CAMPBELL HALL - The mild temperatures are taking a toll on some ski resorts and snow-tubing parks in the Hudson Valley area.

At Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Orange County, the area typically used for tubing is nothing more than a grassy hill.

"We actually made snow when it dropped in temperature overnight, but it's all melted," said Orange County Parks and Recreation Commissioner Richard Rose.

Rose says slope seekers should be patient.

"We are looking forward to the revenue we get from the snow tube program," said Rose. "As soon as the weather allows us, we are making snow."

Forecasters are expecting the weather to remain mild over the next week, with temperatures in the 50s and low-60s.
