A man was found dead inside a burning car Sunday evening at Metro-North's Purdy's station in North Salem.

Police responded to a call at the station at around 4:15 p.m. about a burning car. Inside, police say they found an unresponsive 40-year-old man. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the medical examiner.
