YONKERS - Police are on the hunt for the attacker who stabbed a man in Yonkers.

Investigators say the victim was found inside the hallway of a church at 213 Ashburton Ave. Monday afternoon.

Officials he was stabbed in the lower part of the body and taken to Jacobi Medical Center. The victim’s condition has not been released.

It is unknown yet what prompted the violence.
