The very snowy winter is making it hard for towns and cities to clean up, especially in Middletown, where the city has already used up its snow budget for the year.

Mayor Joseph Destefano says all the snow has depleted Middletown’s $200,000 budget for snow and ice control. City officials will appropriate an additional $200,000 for snow removal, which will come from the city's reserves.
