WARWICK - An Orange County mother is renewing her plea for help in finding her daughter's killer and closing a 35-year-old cold case.

Dawn Marino was just 20 years old when she vanished in 1981 after a night out in Pine Island with her brother and friends.

Marino’s mother, JoAnn, still looks back and wonders about her daughter's final moments as she left to go home, outside what was then called the Corner Tavern Bar at the intersection of Liberty Corners Road and County Route 1.

Marino's remains were found along Little York Road in Warwick six years after she was last seen, and about five miles from where she was last seen alive.

State police have conducted scores of interviews and followed many leads, but never had enough to identify a suspect and make an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the state police’s confidential tip line at 845-344-5370.
