PEARL RIVER - Police say a drunken prank could be to blame for the vandalism of a nativity scene in Pearl River.

Two men, Vincent Pizzoli and Nicholas Easterday, both 26 years old, have been arrested for allegedly stealing a tiny figurine depicting Jesus Christ.

Orangetown police say Pizzoli, who is from Pearl River, and his friend were drunk. Both Pizzoli and Easterday are charged with several misdemeanors and have been released without bail.
