New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital workers protest (8/6/16)

BRONXVILLE - Workers from New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville are demanding an end to a nine-month battle for a contract.

The protesters are members of the Local 11-99 labor union which includes radiologists, surgical technicians and housekeeping.

They say they are fighting for a fair contract, which would include a pension plan and fair raises.

A hospital spokesperson said they have been negotiating in good faith with Local 11-99 and will continue to work with the union to reach a fair contract.
