NEW SQUARE - Police are searching for a missing Rockland County man last seen walking across the George Washington Bridge.

New Square's Emergency Services Department is working with Ramapo police to find 46-year-old David Ahronowitz, who was seen in New Square Friday morning along Cleveland Avenue.

Police say he took a taxi across the George Washington Bridge and later that afternoon, people from the village saw him walking across the bridge.

Officials say police would normally track Ahronowitz down with his cellphone, but say he did not have one on him.

Officials say Ahronowitz has issues with depression.

Anyone with information on where Ahronowitz may be is asked to contact New Square Emergency Services.
