ORANGE COUNTY - Police are seeking a woman seen on surveillance video allegedly using counterfeit money in Orange County.

Police say businesses in the village of Florida have reported hundreds of dollars in fake cash circulating within the last few days.

The woman captured on video is the prime suspect, police say. She appears young, and has long, black hair.

At least three businesses received counterfeit money on Main Street, officials say.

Police say the counterfeit bills appeared very realistic and even avoided detection when they were marked with a special pen designed to alert merchants to fakes.

A bank eventually discovered the fraud.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman suspected in the counterfeit scheme.
