NYACK - Blizzard-like conditions wreaked havoc Thursday in Orange County, causing a number of accidents. 

Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus says this season's storms have already cost more than $500,000. 

Neuhaus is urging residents to stay off the roads while crews clear the snow. 

Officials are also concerned about the possibility of power outages as the storm continues into Friday morning. Orange and Rockland Utilities have extra crews on standby.
