CHESTER - A school board vice president in Orange County has been found guilty on DWI charges.

Prosecutors say Sandra Nagler, 49, of Chester, crashed her car last July in Wallkill because she was drunk. According to the police report, Nagler admitted to drinking four vodkas at a Neil Young concert in Bethel Woods and crashed while driving home.

Her lawyer maintains that she can't be convicted because a sobriety test wasn't done. Police say she failed a portable breath-screening test.

Nagler faces up to one year behind bars and fines. Her lawyer says an appeal will be filed before the sentencing in June.
