Pearl River native, U.S. hockey player Josephine Pucci speaks to News 12 about winning silver at Olympics

PEARL RIVER - After winning a silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, hockey player Josephine Pucci told News 12 that she’s enjoying hanging out at her Pearl River home with her family.

Pucci, a senior at Harvard University and an all-star defensive player on the women's U.S. hockey team, says she dreamed about becoming an Olympian for as long as she can remember.

“It was incredible,” said Pucci. “The venues were amazing.”

Although the team suffered a devastating loss at the hands of the Canadian team in Sochi, Pucci says she’s proud of what she was able to accomplish. She plans on taking time off before returning to Harvard this summer.
