Person airlifted after school bus crash in Deerpark

At least one person sustained serious injuries when a school bus and a car collided in Deerpark today. The crash happened at about 3 p.m.

DEERPARK - At least one person sustained serious injuries when a school bus and a car collided in Deerpark today.

The crash happened at about 3 p.m. on Route 209 and Peenpack Trail.

Police say only one child was on the bus at the time of the collision. News 12 is being told there were several people in the car, and that it may have been a passenger that was airlifted to the hospital.

State police say no charges will be filed against the driver of the bus or the car at this time.
