SLATE HILL - A proposed natural gas pipeline in Orange County isn't sitting well with some property owners.

Residents are angry that a portion of an eight-mile long Millennium gas line is slated to be buried beneath their properties.

Melody Brunn, of Slate Hill, has hired a lawyer because she has multiple concerns, including how her land will be dug up without consent. "I don't like the idea of a gasoline going through my property. I think it's toxic. I think it's going to emit fumes. It's going to affect waterways. I'm just not happy. I don't want any part of it," says Brunn.

The issue is now going before state and federal regulators.
