CRAWFORD - Two people are behind bars following a home invasion in Crawford.

Police say David Morris, 38, and Alyssa Brown, 21, forced their way into a residence on Route 17 over the weekend. Once inside, the two allegedly assaulted a 24-year-old male, stole items and damaged property.

Police add that the suspects brought a 2-year-old child with them to the break-in.

Morris and Brown face multiple charges including burglary, assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The two are being held at the Orange County Jail.
