CLARKSTOWN - Clarkstown police issued a warning after they received numerous calls about coyotes.

People say they have recently spotted the animals in the area of Charles Boulevard in Valley Cottage.

Officials are urging residents to stay away from a coyote if they come across one.

They also recommend keeping unattended pets indoors, especially at night.
