Police: Ramapo custodian stole items over 11 years

RAMAPO - Police say a custodian at Ramapo Town Hall stole electronics, office supplies and other items over the course of 11 years.

Capt. Brad Weidel says as a town custodian, Michael Sosser, 33, had keys to almost every government building - including limited access to the police department.

Sosser was arrested at his Stony Point home Monday and charged with burglary and petty larceny.

Police reportedly left Sosser’s home with numerous boxes and plan to return for more evidence.

Sosser was released on $5,000 bail. His next day in court is March 19 in Airmont.
