Police searching for missing Monroe teen

MONROE - Police in Monroe are asking for the public's help in their search for a missing 15-year-old girl.

Officials say Maybelline Santiago has been missing since Tuesday and is believed to be with her 40-year-old boyfriend Edgar Mazariegosa.

Santiago's parents say the teen has reportedly been speaking and texting with him for the past six months.

Even though police think the girl went willingly, Mazariegosa could face child endangerment charges.

Mazariegosa drives a silver 1999 Plymouth Voyager with an old New York State license plate that reads, "B-Y-M-6-3-0-2."

Anyone with more information is asked to call Monroe police at 845-782-8644.
