Police seek suspect in Yonkers shooting

Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect in an overnight shooting in Yonkers. The victim was shot three times at around 1:30 a.m. He was hit in the stomach, lower back and shoulder.

YONKERS - Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect in an overnight shooting in Yonkers.

The victim was shot three times at around 1:30 a.m. He was hit in the stomach, lower back and shoulder.

Officials say he was taken to Westchester Medical Center by a friend. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities interviewed the victim at the hospital, and say there are several warrants out for his arrest.

Detectives examined shell casings in a yard off Ravine Street as they investigate the case.
