WALLKILL - The latest robbery of a Chase branch in Orange County may be connected to a string of hold-ups across the Hudson Valley, police say.

They say the suspect entered the bank around 10 a.m. Tuesday. He allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money and said he had a gun.

The suspect was described as wearing a black baseball cap, a black long-sleeve shirt, black sneakers, khaki pants and sunglasses. Police say there appears to be some similarities between the Wallkill robbery and other recent crimes.

On July 19, police say the same suspect may have struck another Chase location on West Ramapo Road in Haverstraw. Then on July 24, they say he robbed an M&T Bank in Waywayanda.

They are seeking a white male in his 20s who weighs around 180 pounds, according to Chief Robert Hertman, of the Wallkill Police Department.

It's unclear how much money the man left with.
