Police: Shots fired at Hillcrest house, car

Shots were fired at a house and car in Hillcrest Sunday evening. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at 51 Hempstead Road.

HILLCREST - Shots were fired at a house and car in Hillcrest Sunday evening.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at 51 Hempstead Road.

People were home at the time of the incident, but no one was hit by any of the bullets.

The people living at the home did not want to talk on camera, but police say at least one shot went through a window and several hit a car parked in the driveway.

Officials are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Ramapo police at 357-2400.
