YONKERS - Rain, and even some snow, is making for a sloppy morning commute across the Hudson Valley.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says the rain should be cleared from the region by noon. Van Eck says temperatures will be dropping and tomorrow’s high will only be in the upper 30s with a chance for some scattered flurries.

The rain and cold temperatures are wreaking havoc on the roadways. There’s ponding and flooding in many low lying areas. Potholes are also a huge concern and are being blamed for a number of mishaps today.

There is a 45 mph speed restriction in place on the Tappan Zee Bridge.
