NEWBURGH - Police say a rally held in honor of Michael Lembhard took a violent turn last night.

The rally was held on what would have been Lembhard's 23rd birthday. Police say the fire department was called to Liberty Street to put out a bonfire. When firefighters arrived, they were met with rocks and bottles from the crowd. Police say they received the same treatment when they arrived on the scene.

Four officers were injured during the incident. Lembhard's brother, Donald, was arrested for inciting a riot.
