RAMAPO - Students at Ramapo High School are rehearsing their version of the musical "Hairspray," which debuts next Friday.

The story, set in the 1960s, tells the tale of racial segregation and a teen's dream to overcome it.

"It's very relevant to us, because we want everyone to be together," says student Megan Maldonavo. "Especially in a school as diverse as ours."

Tickets for the three scheduled performances are just $10, with discounts for children and senior citizens.
