YONKERS - A record-setting warm climate across the Hudson Valley sent people out in short sleeves ? in the middle of winter!

In some parts of the region, the temperature reached 60 degrees, which is an all-time record high in the Hudson Valley.

Many residents relished the warm climate by shedding their excess clothing and heading to local parks.

Even snow-loving skiers had some good news.

News 12?s quick check of the slopes today showed that although there wasn?t any snow, most area slopes had a decent base with most ski runs open.
