EAST RAMAPO - A district report released Friday revealed the East Ramapo school district has elevated levels of lead in several school buildings' water.

The report tested nine facilities, but didn't specify which were affected by the lead. Officials do mention that any affected faucets or fountains have been turned off.

District leaders are now working with Rockland County BOCES and a private engineering firm to solve the issue.
