CHESTNUT RIDGE - A members of a motorcycle club in Rockland County are now the stars of a new reality TV show.

"We're the Fugawis," which follows the exploits of Fugawi Motorcycle Club in Chestnut Ridge, premiered on the History Channel last night.

The club was started back in 2005 as a group of lifelong friends who share their love of Harley Davidson motorcycles. TV cameras followed the bikers around for nearly a year, capturing their real-life comings and goings.

The Fugawis say the main reason they wanted to do a reality show was because they wanted to help dispel the negative myths they may have about bikers. "A big part of our thing is to show people bikers are people too. We're not as bad as everyone makes us out to be," says Fugawi’s Scott Sanguinetti.

"We're the Fugawis" airs on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. on the History Channel.
