SPRING VALLEY - Police in Rockland County have arrested a man accused of forgery after they initially stopped him for fighting with someone they thought was a woman.

Officers realized that Carlos Obadias Palma-Aquino was in a fight with another man dressed in women's clothing when they arrived on the scene. Police say Obadias appeared to be drunk, got into their patrol car and refused to get out for questioning.

When officers finally identified Obadias Palma-Aquino, they found a fake ID card, and he was arrested for forgery.

Officials say Obadias Palma-Aquino was already a wanted man for disorderly conduct.
