ORANGETOWN - A Rockland man faces charges of attempted murder in Orangetown.

Authorities say James Sheridan, 40, of Congers, was arrested after police responded to a possible fight last Friday.

The victim suffered numerous wounds and was treated at Nyack Hospital. Police also recovered a weapon.

Sheridan was released on $75,000 bail.
