GARNERVILLE - A Rockland County man was found dead in his car after a robbery at his Bronx auto body shop business, according to police.

Robert Bishun, 36, of Garnerville, was found dead with a zip tie wrapped around his neck Tuesday night.

Police say two men wearing hoodies and masks entered the Pro Line Auto Specialists shop on Stillwell Avenue in Morris Park just before 10 p.m.

They say the men tied up two customers and locked them inside a car trunk.

According to police, the customers were able to escape, and when they went back into the store Bishun and the two robbers were gone.

Two hours later, Bishun was found dead in the back of his car, with a zip tie around his neck.

There are published reports that Bishun was arrested for drug and firearms trafficking, back in 2012, following a raid at the body shop.

NYPD detectives say Bishun lived on Lewis Road in Garnerville.
