YONKERS - A Rockland County man who used candy to lure a little boy into a synagogue will spend the next three years on probation.

Abraham Widenbaum pleaded guilty to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child for the September 2014 incident.

Widenbaum was accused of using sweets to get the boy into the temple to molest him, but the child ran away and told his father what happened.

Prosecutors dropped attempted sexual assault charges, but Widenbaum will be on probation as a sex offender.
