CLARKSTOWN - Officials in the Hudson Valley say they are ready to tackle the significant snowfall headed to the Northeast.

News 12 was at the Clarkstown Highway Department in Rockland County where crews spent the day making final preparations.

Highway Superintendent Frank DiZenso says they checked all of their trucks and have loaded them up with salt.

DiZenso and Town Supervisor George Hoehmann took part in a briefing Thursday at the town's emergency operations center at police headquarters.

"We are all prepared for what will come to us," said Hoehmann.

Rockland County could see up to 9 inches of snow during Saturday's storm.
