School bus accident sends dozens to hospitals

State police say a total of 60 people were sent to the hospital after two Northern Valley Regional High School buses collided on the Palisades

Police say one bus rear-ended the other around 2:15 p.m. near exit 11 in New City on the southbound side of the parkway.

RAMAPO - State police say a total of 60 people were sent to the hospital after two Northern Valley Regional High School buses collided on the Palisades Parkway Monday afternoon.

Police say one bus rear-ended the other around 2:15 p.m. near Exit 11 in New City on the southbound side of the parkway.

Officials say the injured students suffered minor injuries. 

Northern Valley Regional High School is located in Demarest, New Jersey.
