NYACK - Severe thunderstorms are possible for most of the Hudson Valley later today.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck expects a line of storms to pass through the region between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Van Eck says there is a slight chance that the storms will be severe with some possible damage coming from gusty winds.

Van Eck says he expects today to be hot and humid with a high temperature of 92 degrees.

He says he expects temperatures to drop into the mid-80s for most of the week before going back up to the 90s for the weekend.
