YONKERS - Unplowed roads are creating problems for residents in the Hudson Valley.

Most main highways and parkways have been plowed following Thursday's storm, but some local roads are still heavily covered with snow.

With temperatures plunging below freezing this morning, the existing snow is turning to ice and making roads dangerous for drivers.

Some residents in Yonkers say they haven't been able to get out of their homes to get supplies because snowplows have yet to plow their streets.

News 12 is told that the city is asking for residents to remain patient and that every street will be plowed.
