NYACK - A snowstorm will usher in the first day of spring.

Snow is expected to start falling between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. There could be moderate to heavy bursts of snow before the storm clears out between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

About 3 to 5 inches is expected for the Hudson Valley, and between 1 and 3 inches in areas in the I-84 corridor.

The weekend is expected to be sunny, but chilly, with high temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
