WASHINGTONVILLE - A teenager has been arrested in connection with a fake bomb threat at a high school in Orange County, according to police.

Authorities say the 17-year-old boy is charged with falsely reporting the incident at Washingtonville High School on Jan. 17.

District officials put emergency procedures into effect at both the middle and high schools after they received a call claiming there were explosives inside the high school.

Police say more arrests are expected.
