Thousands of homes lost power during serious storms that crossed the Hudson Valley last night.

WALLKILL - Officials from Orange and Rockland Utilities say that up to 5,800 customers were without power at the height of the storm.

Neighborhoods in Wallkill were particularly hard hit with downed trees and power lines.

Power to most homes was restored overnight.
