NYACK - Snow and sleet created treacherous road conditions across the Hudson Valley Wednesday.

News 12's Robert Wolf reports says that while road conditions improved from this morning, Department of Public Works officials urged people to stay off of roads and remain inside.

Some parts of the county experienced 10 inches of snow with a layer of freezing rain, making driving conditions extremely dangerous.

Residents were concerned about the possibility of black ice on the roads.
