NYACK - Commuters on the New York state Thruway in Rockland County faced a slow go this morning after a truck crashed overnight.

A tractor-trailer smashed into barriers on the I-87 near the exit 11 ramp in Nyack around 4 a.m.

The truck caught fire, but firefighters were quickly on the scene to extinguish the flames.

The ramp for exit 11 was shut down for hours as crews cleaned up a fuel spill. The scene was clear by 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported
