BROOKLYN - A meeting was held Monday night to address the possible development of the Brooklyn-Queens Connector and what it could mean for Brooklyn.

The Fort Greene Association and the development team for the connector addressed questions from the community about the new streetcar line scheduled to run from Astoria, Queens to Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

The line could service around 400,000 residents. The city says it could provide a boost to the city's economy and offer Brooklyn residents another means of affordable transit.

The development team also said that the connector could provide residents with access to more jobs and opportunities.
