The Yonkers City Council is looking to eliminate the New York State Thruway toll plaza at the Ridge Hill exit. Council members say too many tolls are taking too much out of the local economy, and are hoping the removal will make it easier for people to come shop at the Ridge Hill Shopping Center. Officials say the removal will help relieve traffic backups that develop during the busy weekend hours....
