Tuxedo police increase patrols for St. Patrick's Day
TUXEDO - Tuxedo police were out in full force on one of their busiest days of the year, St. Patrick's Day.
They began increased patrols this past weekend, operating checkpoints, making random stops and patrolling the train station.
Officers got off to a particularly busy start Monday morning when Chief Patrick Welsh says more than three dozen people were arrested for getting out of control on a Metro-North train en route to Manhattan for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
