WARWICK - Warwick police officers found a New Jersey man hiding in the ceiling of a Main Street pizzeria Wednesday morning, authorities say.

Christopher Linn, 20, allegedly stole $3 in quarters from the cash register at Frank's Pizzeria before 7 a.m.

The officers and their police K-9s were responding to reports of a suspicious person in the area.

Linn attempted to elude capture by climbing up shelves in a bathroom closet and into the ceiling, police say.

Linn faces a charge of third-degree burglary.

He once attended Warwick Valley High School, but now lives in New Jersey.

Pizzeria owner Matt Rinaldi says his shop has been burglarized before and that it was neighbors who called for help.
