NEW ROCHELLE - Several New Rochelle homes were without water Sunday morning after a major water main break on Saturday.

The break caused part of Wilmot Road to collapse at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, creating a hole 16 feet wide and 6 feet deep.

Police say they had to pull out a car that got stuck in the hole after the street gave way.

While water has been fully restored, traffic is still blocked off in the area.
