NYACK - A warm front is expected to move through the region between midnight and dawn Thursday.

News 12 Meteorologist Joe Rao says the warm front will be accompanied by occasional heavy showers, perhaps a thunderstorm and areas of fog.

Rao says temperatures, which have been unseasonably chilly, will rise later tonight up to around 60 degrees by daybreak. A few more showers will precede and accompany a cold front Thursday afternoon, followed by some sunny breaks and a balmy breeze that should push temperatures up into the mid-60s.

A flood watch remains in effect through early Thursday afternoon.
