NYACK - Sub-zero temperatures make going outside dangerous across the Hudson Valley today.
News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says it will be sunny but windy today and with high temperatures only in the single digits. Van Eck warns that that wind chill will make it feel like 10 to 20 below zero.
Van Eck says that the wind should die down by this evening but predicts a high temperature of only 3 degrees overnight.
The cold weather is expected to persist with temperatures only reaching 20 degrees on Wednesday and 30 degrees on Thursday. Van Eck says the region won't have temperatures above freezing until Friday.
