NYACK - The recent gorgeous weather in the Hudson Valley is about to take a 180-degree turn for the worse.

News 12 Meteorologist Joe Rao says that days and days of sunshine are going to turn into days and days of rain.

Rao says Tuesday evening will be cloudy with showery rains and thunderstorms, especially after midnight.

He says that Wednesday will be cloudy with lingering rain and showers. There is also a risk of a thunderstorm early in the day.

News 12 is also tracking Tropical Storm Joaquin, as the threat of rain may last through the weekend. Rao says the exact track of the storm has yet to be determined.
